PlayStation and Naughty Dog haven’t shared news about The Last of Us 2 for a long time, it’s been more than a year since we last saw the game. Now finally, Sony announces a special event for The Last of Us Part II on September 24th. Located in the USA, the event is supposed to provide a lot of information about the expected game. Sony has called a special event for The Last of Us 2 that will take place on September 24th in California (USA). No specific information has been released about this event, which of course is expected to show the gameplay of the title and announce its plans for launch.

The Last of Us 2 will have a new presentation at the end of September!
It’ s an important day for PlayStation fans and one of the games that have made history on the consoles: The Last of Us. Sony Interactive Entertainment America called the event and it is not intended for the general public but is an invitation for the media. At the moment we do not know if there will be a live broadcast. The event will be attended by Geoff Keighley, known by The Game Awards as the Master of Ceremonies, who made the event public.
How things are with The Last of Us Part II
At the moment it’s impossible to know whether the event is closed to the media only or whether it will have a worldwide broadcast through PlayStation’s official channels, which will have The Last of Us 2 exclusively for their console.
After much speculation and too much time without news about the continuation of the saga, Naughty Dog will finally host a media event on September 24.
The Last of Us 2 release date?
Naughty Dog itself has been warming all over the game for some time, as recently Troy Baker, the actor who gives Joel a voice, said that we are not prepared for what The Last of Us 2 will mean. Well, we could almost confirm that we can at least see new gameplay of the game and the expected release date that all the rumors are controlling right now until February 2020. Perhaps this new material is consistent with what GameStop staff enjoyed a few weeks ago. The most recent rumor, however, shifted the date from February to May. This rumor even dares to set an exact date. According to this rumor, The Last of Us II will land in the video game industry on May 22, 2020.
We’ll have to wait to learn more about it, but it’s already a big step forward in recent months and the news we’ve had about the game during that time.
