Sony PlayStation did not participate in E3 2019 and in spite of being able to announce the release date of Death Stranding and other news about future games through its own communication, the Japanese company has not held an event to present future news for some time now. Now it has been confirmed that PlayStation will broadcast on the occasion of ChinaJoy 2019, where it will announce its news about future games. The live event will take place on August 1 from 17:30 to 19:30 CST, as announced by the company.
Sony is expected to present some of the titles of the China Hero Project at its conference. The aim of this project is to develop video games within the Asian giant. One of the most outstanding games is Lost Soul Aside.
The Last of Us 2 or PlayStation 5, “NO” announcement at ChinaJoy 2019?
It is worth noting that last year the games Monkey King: Hero is Back and Farside were announced. On the other hand, ChinaJoy 2019 is expected to present a total of 14 titles. The posters published by Sony refer to the theme of each of these new video games that will be announced.
“On July 17, Sony Interactive Entertainment Shanghai officially announced that they will host a conference on August 1 on ChinaJoy 2019. During the conference, the company will present several titles (all new) for two hours. This event can be seen on various streaming platforms.”
This announcement may not leave any news that might be of special interest concerning future consoles and games, and of course, nothing related to The Last of Us 2 (The Last of Us Part II will be released on February 2020), PlayStation 5 or any of the company’s AAA games. The company has left us some clues that are reflected in some pictures.
