NVIDIA today announced a special event at SIGGRAPH 2018 that will be broadcast live worldwide. The event will take place on August 13th in Vancouver and important announcements regarding new hardware are expected there.
NVIDIA President Jen-Hsun Huang attends SIGGRAPH Special Event
The event will be broadcast live on YouTube and other channels and will focus on the keynote address by CEO Jen-Hsun Huang. As this is a special event, we can expect some surprises. Below is the official press release from NVIDIA:
‘Advances in artificial intelligence and real-time rendering affect IT across all industries, from media and entertainment to product design and healthcare. The entire creative and design process is transformed so that we can evaluate and refine every nuance of your design, product or character with the speed of your imagination.”
Visit NVIDIA at SIGGRAPH to see how NVIDIA raytracing, deep learning, and Quadro graphics are setting new standards in professional graphics.
As you can see, the event is only for graphic designers, developers, and content creators, so you can expect announcements about these areas and not generally for players, as we have to wait until August 20th at Gamescom.
NVIDIA has introduced its Titan and Quadro-based graphics cards at previous SIGGRAPH events, so it would come as no surprise if history were to repeat itself.
