HOW TO WITHDRAW THE ADMINISTRATOR PRIVILEGE IN THE WHATSAPP GROUPS

WhatsApp continues to develop new features to improve the user experience. Such as group calls and the ability to listen to voice notes before sending them. Undoubtedly, the most intense field of evidence is to offer tools that facilitate the tasks of group management. Now, WhatsApp is working on enabling a feature that allows an administrator to degrade other administrators.

Until now, the rights of administration of a group could only withdraw if another administrator deletes the user in question, and then add it again. It is a natural process, although cumbersome. Also, the expulsion can be annoying, especially for the deleted user. Well, WhatsApp has launched its Beta program with that feature. Within the section “Group information,” an administrator can perform a long press on another. And choose the option “Discard as administrator.” In this way, administration rights can revoke without the need to expel the user. Doing the wrong thing, but without much notice.

THE FUNCTION TO ELIMINATE AN ADMINISTRATOR IS STILL IN THE TESTING PHASE

The Beta 2.18.12 version of WhatsApp for Android already has this function by default. Similarly, WhatsApp is testing this tool on iOS, but iPhone users will have to wait a bit to assert their gallons. In any case, we must remember that it is in the testing phase.

This update allows the creator to be expelled from a group using the “Delete participant” function.  The big giant is developing an implementation that prevents the creator of the team from being degraded.

The new tools for groups are not the only field of work of WhatsApp. There is also a lot of work to be done in the security section. These are the small inconveniences of being the most used messaging application. Which does not mean it’s the best, of course.
