WhatsApp has introduced many improvements for group chats in recent months. These include increasing the number of participants that can join an event. The messaging app is working on new features for these group calls. It will soon be possible to schedule an appointment for such a call.

This is a feature that can reduce the chaos of group calls by letting you know when the call will take place. It can be a good help in professional or student groups.
Schedule calls
This option to schedule calls in group chats was introduced in WhatsApp for Android Beta 2.23.4.4. In the top menu of the three items, you can see a new option, schedule a call. When you use the feature, you can specify the date and time of the call, as well as a name or description of the purpose of the group call.
This way you avoid being constantly reminded that there is a call coming up because you can schedule the call and have a fixed date for the call. The entire group knows when the call is and what the reason or purpose of the call is.
This feature is currently under development, so we will have to wait a while before we can use it in WhatsApp. It is presented as a very useful productivity tool in group chats in the app. Now we just have to wait for it to be introduced in the popular messaging app in a stable way. Probably in a couple of months.
