Stadia: Cloud based gaming platform will mature with more than 120 games this year

Stadia, the video game streaming platform launched by Google at the end of last year, is looking forward to the new year rather optimistically, according to a news release on the Stadia Community Blog, which not only presents the improvements introduced in these first two months of life but also gives a preview of what users will receive this year and especially in the next three months.

In this context, they are already announcing that more than 120 new games will arrive in the course of this year 2020, with more than ten new games arriving exclusively on the Stadia platform in the first half of this year.

Stadia begins to mature as a platform

As for the new games, Google continues to work with its partners to carry out the planned launches and promises that they will soon offer more information about them, waiting for the right moment to offer more information.

But in addition to the games, the Stadia platform will also have new features that users will be able to enjoy without downloads or updates, making it a fully cloud-based broadcast platform with no need to update any locally installed software.

According to them, users will be able to:

* Support for 4K resolution games on the web
* Possibility to add more features to the wizard when playing over the web
* Support for more mobile phones under Android
* Wireless games on the Internet via the controller from Stadia

It will be a question of each and every one of these new features coming along the way, and even though during this year is also expected the arrival of Stadia Base, the subscription modality that will allow users to use this service for free, albeit with a number of restrictions related to Stadia Pro.
