New Apple patent allows the hinge of the MacBook Pro to dynamically adjust the keyboard angle

According to AppleInsider, recently a patent of Apple for keyboard customization of the MacBook Pro revealed. The patent indicates that the future MacBook Pro keyboard will be able to adjust the angle dynamically and more ergonomically, creating a more comfortable typing posture.

Apple’s new patent shows that the hinge of the MacBook Pro can dynamically adjust the keyboard angle

In a patent entitled “Connected Components for Portable Electronic Devices”, which was granted to Apple on Tuesday, Apple outlines some of the ways in which the MacBook can be made more ergonomic for users without external aids. In simple terms, Apple’s patent raises the back half of the MacBook to create a more comfortable writing position.

In addition to adjusting the angle of the entire laptop to create a better typing position, users have the ability to connect an external keyboard and mouse at any time, effectively turning it into a Mac-like desktop.

The patent shows that Apple has taken a minimalist approach to this design, creating a coaster that raises the rear part so that the entire top is tilted towards the user, including the trackpad part. The other lifts the keyboard part in the back and tilts the keyboard while the trackpad is held straight.

However, regardless of the height, the bottom of the display is always attached to the top of the keyboard.

It is important to note that Apple files a lot of patents every year, but most of them are not commercially available, so it is still unclear whether the displayed patent will be used in the future.
