The MSI Creator TRX40 has been listed on an MSI promotional page where users can redeem a $25 steam gift card when purchasing a suitable product. One such product is the new Threadripper series motherboard.
Previously, the MSI TRX40 PRO 10G motherboard was also registered with the EEC, confirming that there will be not only one but several models are shown by MSI for the new threadripper line.
Motherboard manufacturers are currently preparing a range of HEDT products for Intel and AMD processors. We have already seen the MSI Creator X299 and it is very much focused on the Content Creators market. Features like more I/O, more capacity and more power stability through the use of best-in-class VRMs (90A amplifiers) are just some of the highlights of the MSI Creator family.
There are no details that will be mentioned for the MSI Creator TRX40, but considering that it is now listed by a manufacturer and the third generation of AMD Ryzen Threadripper CPUs will be released next month, an official announcement of these boards may not be so far away. Other gigabytes of TRX40 and ASUS motherboards have also been previously filtered, and are included:
- ASUS PRIME TRX40-PRO
- ASUS ROG STRIX TRX40-E GAMING
- TRX40 AORUS Xtreme hydropower plant
- TRX40 AORUS Xtreme Xtreme
- TRX40 AORUS Master
- TRX40 AORUS Pro WIFI
- TRX40 DESIGNAREThe TRX4 HEDT platform would have four-channel memory, UDIMM memory support with 2 DIMMs per channel and up to 256 GB capacity per channel. This means the platform supports up to 1TB of storage. The Threadripper 3000 Series will be launched in November. We will keep you up to date.
