Gigabyte has prepared a new flagship motherboard that sits at the top of the pyramid after its Z390 AORUS Master motherboard. This is the Z390 AORUS Xtreme and it has many high-end features for those who just want the best.
To begin with, the motherboard uses an extended form factor ATX (E-ATX) simply to accommodate all additional features. It has two Intel Thunderbolt 3 ports, one Intel Gigabit LAN port, and Intel Gigabit WLANport. In addition, it even has an Aquantia 10GbE LAN capability. Finally, it is an AORUS motherboard using RGB LED lighting options as well.
The Z390 AORUS Xtreme has so many features that it practically embarrasses the Z390 AORUS Master. That is already a pretty impressive motherboard.
The VRM uses a 16 phase IR digital VRM with PowIRstage design and is comprehensively cooled by large heat sinks. This heatsink does not only look good, but they are also functional as well. It uses direct-contact copper heatpipes, Nano Carbon base plates and aluminum fins that allow air to pass through.
There is an IO cover and an integrated backplate. It uses direct-contact copper heatpipes, Nano Carbon base plates and aluminum fins that allow air to pass through.
There is an IO cover and an integrated backplate. This, of course, simplifies installation and there is absolutely no chance of the user forgetting to install the IO display during the installation of the cabinet. The Z390 AORUS Xtreme has a retail price of $549.99, which is almost double that of the Z390 AORUS Master motherboard.
