In both boxes, the cards are equipped with a non-autonomous liquid cooling system. In other words, we are not dealing with an AIO water cooling system. It is necessary to have a circuit to connect the card in a loop. The cooling block covers the entire circuit board. It is mounted on the cardboard box and uses nickel-plated copper, acrylic or an addressable RGB backlight.

The RTX 2080 Xtreme WaterForce WB 8G, clocked like the previous one, 1515/1890 MHz (base/boost) and 14140 MHz for the memory, is equipped with 3 x HDMI, 3 x DisplayPort and 1 x USB C, the same connectivity as the AIO version.

The RTX 2080 Ti Xtreme WaterForce WB 11G uses the same Waterblock and is clocked at 1350/1770 MHz with 11 GB GDDR6 memory at 14140 MHz, the connection is identical to the previous.11G Gigabyte RTX 2080 Ti Waterforce WB Preset. They also feature a copper cold plate that covers the entire GPU. In the all-in-one version, the heat from the power supply stage is returned through a heatpipe. All these models require two 8-pin PCIe connectors, all three cards carry RGB, which can be synchronized via the motherboard and/or RGB Fusion.

The Aorus Xtreme RTX 2080 Ti WaterForce WB has a 16 + 3 phase VRM. It draws its power requirement from two 8-pin PCIe. Its GPU operates at 1770 MHz compared to 14140 MHz on the RAM side, while the Aorus Xtreme RTX 2080 WaterForce WB offers 12 + 2 phase VRM. The graphics processor is calibrated to 1890 MHz and 14140 MHz for RAM.

Although the cooling system makes it possible to limit the height of the card, the presence of two rows of video connectors is the starting point for a double slot format.
