Meizu officially announced the flagship smartphone Meizu 17 and its extended version Meizu 17 Pro.
The Meizu 17 received a screen with a very narrow frame – the base is only 3.3 mm wide). It has a 6.6-inch Samsung Super AMOLED resolution of 2340 x 1080 and the screen supports both 90 Hz refresh rate and HDR.
The front camera with a resolution of 20 Mpix is cut into the upper right corner of the screen, the hole diameter is only 2.99 mm. When you start the front camera, the ring around the hole flashes, it can also indicate the charge status.
The main camera is equipped with a 64-Mpix image sensor Sony IMX686, additionally, a TV 12 Mpix, a macro camera 5 Mpix, and 8-Mpix width with a viewing angle of 118 degrees are installed.
The Super mTouch fingerprint scanner is located under the screen. The declared release speed is 0.15 seconds.
Meizu 17 uses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G, 8 GB RAM, and 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 flash memory. The smartphone supports the proprietary technology mSmart 5G. Under the equipment – NFC module.
Installed a battery capacity of 4500 mAh with support for rapid charging Super mCharge 30 W. It allows the smartphone to charge up to 56% in half an hour.
The Meizu 17 smartphone will be available for $523 or $565, depending on the configuration. The model will be available on May 11.
Meizu 17 Pro is also an interesting device. It differs from the basic version with fast RAM, improved camera, body material, and the presence of wireless charging.
It has the same 6.6-inch Samsung Super AMOLED screen with an opening for the front camera, the Snapdragon 865 system, and UFS 3.1 flash memory. However, the LPDDR4X RAM has been replaced by LPDDR5. In addition, this version has up to 12 GB RAM.
In addition to ultra-fast wired charging with 30 W, the Meizu 17 Pro also supports the fast mCharge Super Wireless with 27 W. It can charge a 4,500 mAh battery with up to 47% of its power in 30 minutes.

The main camera uses the same Sony IMX686 sensor with a resolution of 64 megapixels, but the resolution of the widescreen camera is increased to 32 megapixels and the viewing angle is increased to 129 degrees. There is also a 3D depth sensor S5K33D from Samsung, which is also used in augmented reality applications.
Meizu 17 Pro with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB flash memory costs about 607 dollars, the version with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB flash memory costs 664 dollars. Smartphones will go on sale on 11 May.
