Every month, Google brings to the public the security patches. That is corresponding to the new month for their Nexus and Pixel devices. A couple of days ago, Google announced on its developer blog. That the updates for January were already downloadable and that the OTAs would be reaching all Google devices.

Thanks to an external sourceTelus, well-known Canadian operator, we have been able to know that in this update Google has added an “anti-aging” patch for Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL.

Due to the known “problems” of the OLED panels, in all its formats; AMOLED, OLED and P-OLED, we imagine that these patches will help reduce (although difficult to eliminate) the known “burn-in” effect.
