Gigabyte launched Aorus 5 vB and 7 vB gaming laptops based on the Core i7-10750H

The new items are referred to as the Aorus 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB and remain positioned as mid-priced models. Gigabyte has updated its laptops for Aorus 5 and Aorus 7 with the latest generation of Intel’s tenth-generation H-series (Comet Lake-H) mobile processors.

The Aorus 5 vB features a 15.6-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution, 144 Hz refresh rate, and thin frames. The Aorus 7 vB model, in turn, can offer a 17.3-inch screen with similar features. In fact, size and price are the only significant differences between the new products, as the laptops are the same from a hardware perspective.

Regardless of the modification, the 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB are equipped with a six-core Core i7-10750H processor, which has frequencies of 2.6-5.0 GHz. The basis of the graphics subsystem can be an NVIDIA graphics card of the type GTX 1650 Ti, GTX 1660 Ti, or RTX 2060. The new WindForce cooling system, which comprises four copper heat pipes and is capable of dissipating more than 150 watts of heat, is responsible for heat dissipation in the new products.

The volume of DDR4-2666 or DDR4-2933 RAM is 8, 16, or 32 GB, and in total, the system allows the installation of up to 64 GB RAM. For data storage, the 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB have a 2.5-inch drive and two solid-state drives in M.2 format. The volume of the data storage subsystem is not specified. We also note the presence of the Intel AX200 module for notebooks with support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

Laptops for the games 5 vB and Aorus 7 vB will soon be on sale. Unfortunately, the cost of new products is not yet specified but promises not to be too high.
