Two new laptops have been shown in the Computex by Aorus, the Aorus X5 v8 and the X7 DT v8. What will these two monsters bring us?
This first model of laptop, which we can see in pictures, was in the stands of Aorus confirming its appearance and its most important specifications, having in mind that it is a laptop with magnificent specifications just like the X7 DT v8.
First of all, there is a 15.6-inch IPS Full-HD laptop. This display also supports G-Sync technology. Inside we see that it has a powerful Intel Core i7-8850H processor that works at a minimum frequency of 2.4GHz and a maximum frequency of 4.3GHz. The amount of DDR4 RAM can be up to 32GB.
The graphics card will be the GeForce GTX 1070. Finally, this system supports one hard disk drive plus two SSDs.
This 17.3-inch notebook with a 17.3-inch screen and a 144 Hz refresh rate go a little further, keeping the same processor as the previous model, but increasing the maximum amount of memory to 64GB and the graphics card is the GTX 1080.
Then, the features are similar, with the design and backlit keyboard with Aorus RGB technology. USB 3.1, HDMI 2.0, Sabre Hi-Fi Audio DAC and Thunderbolt 3 ESS sound system.
As we can see it is an incredible equipment and we have chosen to eliminate the GTX 1070 SLI for a GTX 1080 card. The main reason is to avoid higher temperatures and to have the power of the monocore.
Availability and price
Aorus offers both laptops, among others, with no confirmed availability date or prices. Although it is expected that its launch in Spain is imminent, as Aorus is usually quite quick to replenish stock. We will be informing you about them as soon as we know.
