Gigabyte to upgrade its Aero 15 X laptop with a GTX 1070 MaxQ

Gigabyte will upgrade its already well-known AERO 15 notebook including a GTX 1070 MaxQ graphics card in exchange for the previous GTX 1060 6GB included for its new model AERO 15 X. This change will cause a considerable graphics power increase for the ultrafine notebook if some specifications were very good.

The remaining specs are maintained for the ultra-thin, with an Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor and a 15.6 “FullHD monitor with anti-glare protection and wide-viewing angle. You can choose between 8, 16 and 32GB of DDR4-2400 RAM between two available slots and storage options for your two M.2 NVMe slots.

As for the new GTX 1070 MaxQ, this is a reduced version in frequencies and consumption compared to the conventional GTX 1070 that have been used in the rest of laptops, so now can be installed in much thinner laptops at the expense of dispensing of part of the power that can offer a GTX 1070 to its frequencies of reference.
