Dark Alliance 2 Remaster is on the way and will be released for the first time on PC

Black Isle Studios has announced via a Twitter post that they are working on a remaster of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2, and sooner than we thought. This news comes as a surprise considering the remaster of the first Dark Alliance was released in December, so we didn’t expect to see the remake of the second game so soon.

Like its predecessor, Dark Alliance 2 was a console exclusive title for PS2 and the original Xbox, so this will be the first time the game will be available for PC.

Amazing that Black Isle Studios is releasing 2 remasters in such a short time. Surely they were already working on the second one (which uses the same engine and assets) at the same time as the first one. It’s not unusual for companies to do this with remasters, but Black Isle is in a hurry to release Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance 2. Let’s hope it’s as good as the first installment.

More news from the Baldur’s Gate franchise: Larian Studios is still “working” on Baldur’s Gate 3. But honestly, it’s been 2 years and we’re pretty sick of being their free beta testers. A big disappointment for Larian. But anyway, we’re moving on: the Dark Alliance 2 remaster is coming out later this year, and we’re all fans of the saga like crazy from this news. We’re sure we’ll be enjoying it to the fullest.
