Commandos 2 was originally released in 2001 on PC, Xbox, and PS2, and like its 1998 predecessor, it is a very challenging game from World War II with a strong focus on stealth. In this sequel, players once again lead a small group of soldiers with unique specializations, including snipers and demolition experts, in a series of isometric maps to perform various open-ended sabotage and murder actions.
Commandos 2 HD Remaster Trailer
According to Kalypso, the Commandos 2 Remaster will be delivered in the fourth quarter of this year with improved controls and updated graphics for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, iPad and Android Tablets. Kalypso Media released the first official gameplay trailer for the new Remaster HD of the well-known strategy and camouflage game Commandos 2.
The Commandos series was originally developed by Pyro Studios, and Kalypso acquired the rights to it in July. Now, the editor of the Tropico saga said plans to turn the acquired intellectual property into completely new games while adapting existing titles to “contemporary technologies and platforms,” starting with this remaster.
