LG has become one of Apple’s leading suppliers. A few weeks ago it was rumored that the South Korean company was going to supply Apple with OLED screens for the new iPhone from the American company. It seems to be confirmed. But it’ s not just OLED screens that the Koreans are going to provide to Cupertino’s firm.
LG will supply 20 million LCDs and 4 million OLEDs to Apple
Since the American firm will also use LCD screens on other models. And for these screens, they have reaffirmed in the Korean firm, that they have found in the Americans a great customer.

Since LG is selling huge quantities of screens to Apple. In the case of LCD displays, the amount so far is 20 million. While in the case of OLED panels, which will reach the most expensive models of iPhone, 4 million units have already been sold to the company based in Cupertino.
LG is not the only company Apple buys panels from. For LCD panels, they also use a Japanese company called Display. While OLED displays, the rest of the screens that do not buy from LG, are bought by Samsung, one of its main suppliers.
Little by little, we know more about the arrival of the new iPhone, so we will have to be aware of when they will be launched. But a big part of them will be using signature boards that we all know about.
