TSMC will produce 80 million A14 Bionic processors for Apple

Apple A14 Bionic is going to be the company’s first 5G solution. TSMC has been a company famous for producing the processors of many brands such as Samsung or Apple. The American brand has chosen them again this year to produce the new processor which we will see in their iPhone 12, the Bionic A14. It is expected that 80 million processors will be produced this year alone.

This branded processor will be the first one with 5G. There is also speculation that it will be seen not only on the brand’s phones but also on a new iPad.

TSMC has been the benchmark company in the industry for years, as brands like Apple rely on them to produce their new generations of processors. The same has happened this year with the production of the new Bionic A14. A processor that we will see in this new generation of phones from the American company, in all iPhone 12 models.

It’s an important processor, as it’s the first with 5G for Cupertino’s, which waited a while to add this connectivity to their phones. Therefore, it’s important that the company be prepared to mass-produce 80 million units in this case.

It remains a question about when these iPhone 12 will come on the market. Weeks ago there was speculation about a delay in their release to stock due to possible delays in their production. At least it seems that the production of this processor will not be delayed by TSMC and that everything will be on time.
