Apple A11, First photographs of the chip used in iPhone 8

We come up with the latest information of the new Apple chip A11. We know that Apple will present its new iPhone this year to the expectation of millions of users who intend to upgrade their phones. For the new iPhone 8, Apple wants to use a new processor called A11. That is an evolution of the same processor of the own inventory that has been using for years in each model of the phone that has launched the market.

A11 Running at 3GHz

As expected with each new Apple chip, the A 11 should represent a remarkable improvement in performance, thanks mainly to two factors. The first one is that it is that the A11 processor would operate at a 3GHz speed. That would be a significant advance considering that the A10 runs at 2.34GHz.

Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP)

The other factor is a new technology called Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP). That would improve performance in multitasking, one of the great Achilles heels of mobile platforms. The inclusion of Heterogeneous Multi-Processing (HMP), is giving us a clue about the next iPhone and the future of iOS to improve multitasking in the operating system, but the latter is just a speculation we make.

In the graphics part of the chip, Apple would still rely on PowerVR, discarding rumors that it would use a proprietary GPU.
