A roadmap posted by @Broly-X1 reveals many of the features of the next-generation Rembrandt notebook processors. These processors will be part of the Ryzen 6000 chips that will hit the market in 2022, replacing the current Cezanne.

According to the specifications revealed here, the Ryzen 6000 laptop chips will use Zen-3+ cores, RDNA-2 graphics (Navi 20), PCIe-4.0 interface, support for DDR5/LPDDR5 memory, a 6nm process node, and power consumption of 45W. Cezanne’s jump promises to be very high, which will benefit users who rely on these laptops with AMD.

The source claims that the roadmap is “outdated” and that the Van Gogh APUs will not end up appearing. AMD may want to focus manufacturing of its 7nm process node on other CPUs that are more profitable for them, such as desktop Ryzen processors.

The Dragon Crest APU chips, which are loaded at 9W, do not appear to be in danger of a 2022 launch. This will use Zen 2-cores with Navi 20 graphics and a 7nm process node.

It is quite possible that AMD will unveil these Rembrandt, Dragon Crest, and Barcelo chips during CES 2022 in January.
