According to a filtered 3DMark list, this future Microsoft device will also have an AMD Radeon RX5300M graphics card, which gives this new Surface laptop some “gaming” capabilities. According to Windows Latest, this new AMD-powered device is the Surface Laptop 4, which has the potential to be released with both AMD and Intel hardware options.

With the Ryzen 4000 series of AMD’s laptop processors, AMD has achieved significant performance/watt advantages over its next-generation product line, allowing significant leaps in both performance and battery life. AMD’s current Surface Laptop 3 design is known to offer lower performance and shorter battery life than its Intel counterpart, but that will soon change thanks to innovations in the latest AMD processors.
