The Asus Republic of Gamers has announced the launch of its new gaming laptop Zephyrus M, the world’s thinnest, featuring an eighth-generation Intel Core processor, along with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics.
Asus Zephyrus M, the ultimate gaming laptop
The Asus Zephyrus M line of notebooks is designed for players who want the power of a desktop system, in the relatively thin and lightweight notebook format. The Zephyrus M features a 15.6-inch screen with 1980 x 1080 pixel resolution and AHVA IPS technology, which offers high image quality, 144Hz refresh rate and reduced response time of 3ms. This screen includes G-Sync technology, which guarantees a perfect fluidity in competitive gaming, as well as very vivid colours and excellent viewing angles.
To give life to this screen, it has been chosen to include a robust six-core processor with twelve Intel Core i7-8750H threads, along with a GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card, 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, a 256 GB SSD and a 1 TB SSHD. All this stuff into a chassis with dimensions of 38.4 cm x 26.2 cm x 1.75-1.99 cm and reduced weight of 2.45 kg. That has been made possible by a highly efficient and advanced cooling system, which will keep the hardware cool even in the most intense gaming sessions.
In terms of connectivity, it offers 1 USB-C, 2 USB-3.1 Gen 1, 2 USB-3.1 Gen2, 1 HDMI 2.0 and 1 3.5 mm jack for headphones and microphones. A backlit keypad is also included for trouble-free use in the dark, and a 55 Wh, four-cell Li-ion battery. Your notebook offers several switchable GPU modes, so you can switch between the best performance or power-saving mode.
