Asus would be working on an upgrade to its Zephyrus laptop to add the latest Intel processors, based on the Coffee Lake architecture for higher energy efficiency and better performance.
New Asus Zephyrus with Core i7-8750H and GeForce GTX 1080 Max-Q
The new Asus Zephyrus would receive the Core i7-8750H processor, along with the powerful GeForce GTX 1080 Max-Q graphics card. It is a six-core, twelve-wire processor capable of operating at a frequency of up to 4.1 GHz, a considerable leap forward from today’s laptops with up to four-core processors.
The package would be completed with 16GB of DDR4 2400 RAM, 512GB SSD storage and a 15.6-inch display with 1080p resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and G-Sync backup technology for the smoothest gameplay. It is estimated that its price could be approximately 3500 euros.
Its price will be very high, but let’s not forget that it offers compelling hardware in a very compact space, so it is an excellent choice for users who are looking for a powerful computer that they can easily carry, or who do not have enough space for a desktop system.
