ASUS shares more information about the Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop, this laptop attracts attention because it is one of the first to implement AMD’s Ryzen 7 4800HS processor, AMD’s most powerful CPU for this segment and also introduced during CES 2020.
ASUS Zephyrus G15 is the first notebook with Ryzen 7 4800HS
ASUS will offer two different models of the ASUS Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop. As a base, the powerful ASUS laptop has a 15.6-inch screen with a 1080p IPS panel at 144 Hz and a 240 Hz display. As far as the GPU is concerned, we won’t see navigation in gaming laptops yet, so ASUS will provide a 6GB GeForce GTX 1660 Ti or 6GB GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card.
Inside, the ASUS Zephyrus G15 Gaming Laptop can be configured with up to 32 GB DDR4-3200 RAM, 512 GB or 1 TB NVMe memory, Wi-Fi 6 technology, a 76 Wh 4-cell battery, a 180 W power supply and a total weight of 2.1 kg.
With all the performance on offer, the notebook needs a good cooling system and ASUS has thought of this with the n-Blade ROG technology. This is a fan that maximizes the airflow through the heat sinks. They are made of a special liquid crystal polymer that allows the blades to be incredibly thin, yet strong enough to withstand high speeds. In short, ASUS says it improves cooling by 17% over its previous cooling systems.
In terms of connectivity, the ASUS Zephyrus G15 takes advantage of the new Wi-Fi 6 connection, which improves connectivity to the Internet and other devices.
