HP announced today a new series of Zbook mobile workstations. All of them are equipped with modern 8th generation Intel H-series processors. These processors revealed only a few days ago. The new equipment is created on the 14nm++ Coffee Lake architecture and is equipped with four or six cores.
ZBook 15, ZBook 15v, ZBook Studio and ZBook Studio x360, HP presents new mobile workstations
The majority of devices that appear with new chipsets on board are instead devices for playing, such as new Alienware laptops or Odyssey from Samsung. However, HP’s new laptops are an entirely different range of activities. These devices are intended to be mainly workstations, so instead of GeForce graphics cards, they will be equipped with Quadro cards.
The new PCs are ZBook 15, ZBook 15v, ZBook Studio and ZBook Studio x360, the first two being laptops with a 15.6-inch display and processor, e.g., a quad-core Core i5 or a six-core Xeon. The laptops will also include an HP Quadro graphics card – 2 GB P600 or 4 GB P2000.
The ZBook 17 has the same processor options, but with a 16GB Nvidia Quadro P5200 card, plus 64GB of RAM and 2TB of storage space, plus a 17.3-inch IPS LCD with 1080p or 4K resolution. In the end, ZBook Studio and Studio x360 stay, the latter of which is, of course, a convertible laptop. It is equipped with 4-Giga Quadro P1000 and Xeon E-2186M processor. Today, it is one of the most potent convertible laptops on the market.
All the workstations are expected to appear on the market in May this year. The costs will be as follows: $949 for ZBook 15v, $1299 for ZBook Studio and $1499 for ZBook Studio x360.
