HP updates the Spectre x360 with 22.5 hours of battery life

HP today updated its popular reconditioned Spectre x360 convertible laptops. Both the 13-inch and 15-inch versions are given a new “gem-cut” design with a more angular look.

Spectre x360, HP updates the Spectre x360 with 22.5 hours of battery life,
The 13-inch Spectre x360 features a quad-core CPU with 22.5 hours of autonomy.

In addition to the new design, it also features an angled USB-C port on the edge of the Spectre x360 to improve cable management. As expected, HP includes the latest generation of Intel’s eighth-generation quad-core processors in the 13-inch Spectre x360 and six-core options for the larger 15-inch model.

The big promise of the new 13-inch ‘x360’ is “the world’s longest battery life in a quad-core convertible. That’s a statement, and HP promises a battery life of up to 22.5 hours on this model. This is something that needs extensive testing, but even if half of it is achieved, the battery life will be one of the strongest points.

It contains up to 16GB of RAM, up to 512GB of SSD memory (NVMe M.2) and even optional LTE support with Intel’s eSIM design.

For the 13-inch model, we can choose between an FHD panel or a 4K screen, although if we choose the latter, the battery life is shorter.

The 15-inch model is actually designed for photographers, developers, illustrators and others who need better CPU and GPU performance. HP has changed the Vega M graphics from AMD to Nvidia. We can choose between the latest Intel quad-core processors with the Nvidia GeForce MX 150 or the eighth-generation Intel processors with a GTX 1050Ti (Max Q). Within the 15-inch model, there is also up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD memory.

Both the 13-inch and 15-inch HP Spectre x360 will be available in November. The 13-inch model starts at $1,149, and the 15-inch version is charged at $1,389. Both devices will be available in HP online stores or Best Buy stores in the USA.
