VR Workstation HP ZBook introduces by HP in Virtual reality market. VR-Ready term does not only began to spread to the game notebook, but it is also spreading to the workstation. Recently, HP introduced a series of VR-Ready notebook workstations: HP ZBook 17 G4.
The new notebook workstation is the industry’s first notebook to restore the encrypted BIOS. So all HP ZBooks are up to full military-grade monitoring functionality. And all notebooks from this series can withstand the harsh environment of the ultimate durability test.
HP ZBook Studio G4 Specifications
The first notebook for the ZBook Studio G4 is starting at $ 1399. This is specially designed for engineers, architects, producers and build a high-end mobile workstations. HP ZBook Studio chassis comes with aluminum processing, with diamond trim. It has a 15.4-inch fuselage display matrix equipped with HP DreamColor 4K UHD monitor. Also its screen support Adobe RGB 100% color gamut. Hewlett-Packard have words on new notebook, ZBook Studio G4 is equipped with 94-watt battery that can provide 16.5 hours of battery life with continuous running.
ZBook Studio is only 18 mm thick and its weight is only 4.6 pounds. But this small size laptop comes with Intel Xeon / i7 processor, Nvidia Quadro discrete graphics card. And it can support up to 2TB of dual hard disk storage with support of lightning 3.0 interface and providing 40 Gb/s bandwidth.
ZBook 14u G4 Specifications
The HP ZBook 14u G4 is the thinnest and most compact workstation in the HP VR-Ready camp. So with a weight of 3.61 pounds and 14-inch full HD screen. It also supports touch screen function, that comes with AMD FirePro W4190M (2GB) professional graphics. And it has the latest core i7 processorwith up to 32GB of memory and 2TB hard drive.
HP ZBook 15 G4 Specifications
The HP ZBook 15 G4 starts at $ 1419 and follows the previous ZBook 15 workstation (currently used by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration for the International Space Station). The new ZBook 15 G4 integrates Xeon / i7 processor, supports up to 3TB of storage and Nvidia or AMD professional graphics. Talking about the new 15-inch notebook in terms of performance we have nothing to say, but that is a highly customizable notebook. So ZBook 15 series is the main core of VR ready HP workstations.
HP ZBook 17 G4 Specifications
HP ZBook 17 G4 is the flagship product in the notebook camp. But it is also a VR-Ready notebook. Because it can support 90 FPS VR experience . The HP ZBook 17 G4 starts at $ 1519 and the VR-Ready version starts at $ 3438. The notebook can have a wide range of processors, from i3, i7 to strong processors. In the graphics card we can also have Nvidia Quadro P4000 or P5000 professional VR graphics card, or AMD graphics card. HP ZBook 17 G4 provides three kinds of resolution for users: 1600 × 900 (HD +) , 1920 x 1080 (FHD) or 3840 × 2160 (UHD).
The Zbook 17 G4 also provides basic security standards such as smart readers, TPM chips, and fingerprint readers. In addition the notebook also provides three lightning interface.
