Tesla returns to the news, and in this case to present the most extensive lithium-ion battery in the world, in southern Australia. So, thanks to the partnership with a French renewable energy firm and the local government.

Musk promised to deliver the battery within 100 days after signing his contract. And if he did not do it, he would do it for free, a further demonstration of the confidence they want to convey in the sector.
This battery, presented on CNN, will start operating in early December. And help solve the problems of frequent power outages in southern Australia, something increasingly common due to energy shortages.

The battery will store the energy generated by a wind farm in the south of the region, freeing it in times of higher demand. It will be three times more potent than its closest competitor, needed to feed the homes of 1.7 million people in that area.
At the end of last year, much of the state was without electricity after a storm damaged the transmission lines. And this year they had another major blackout in February. That was due to the heat wave (the demand for energy rises by air conditioning). Batteries of this type are expected to solve problems in various parts of the world, not only in Australia.
