The PC and Nintendo Switch versions of Spyro: Reignited Trilogy can be seen

The great success of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has led Activision to continue to build on the nostalgia of the original PlayStation era, with the next release being Spyro: Reignited Trilogy for PS4 and Xbox One on September 21. In addition, a new leak confirms that the game is on its way to PC and Nintendo Switch.

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is listed again for PC and Nintendo Switch

Spyro: Reignited Trilogy is a new version of the first three franchise entries with modernized graphics for the current hardware. The official Spyro: Reignited Trilogy website has listed the game with two previously unannounced platforms for the title, PC and Nintendo Switch, which have already received their respective versions of Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, so Spyro’s arrival was to be expected.

This list has been removed, although it is the second time that an official source has revealed a Nintendo Switch version of the game, as Nintendo UK created a sales list with a Switch version earlier this year. It makes sense that Spyro: Reignited Trilogy will initially be released on PS4 and Xbox One, as both platforms offer remarkably similar hardware. PC and Switch are a very different story, as the former offers a much wider range of hardware configurations that are more difficult to develop, and Nintendo Switch is based on a Nvidia Tegra X1 processor.
