On August 9, Western Digital Corporation announced the SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD, a SanDisk brand portable SSD. Three 500GB, 1TB and 2TB models are available. 500GB will be released on August 23rd and 1TB and 2TB will be released in September.
That is a portable SSD with integrated NVMe. The interface is USB 3.1 Gen2, and the transfer speed is up to 1,050 MB/S. Suitable for high-speed transfer of large photos and videos. USB type C cable and type A cable are included.
The housing is made of aluminum and has a silicone rubber coating to increase durability. The dustproof and drip-proof design complies with IP55. The Rescue Pro Deluxe data recovery software is available for one year and has a limited warranty of five years. The body size is W110.26 × D57.34 × H10.22mm, and the weight is 77g. The supported operating system is Windows 7/8/10, macOS 10.9 or higher.
