Samsung introduces its own Samsung internet browser for android devices. Samsung’s Android smartphones have an integrated Internet browser developed by Samsung.
Although most users prefer to use the Google Chrome as default browser. However, Samsung did not give up. Company continuously works to improve its web browser. And now the company recently launches the Samsung Internet browser on the Google Play Store. For Beta users with the free download option.
Currently, new Samsung Internet Beta version is compatible only with Galaxy and Nexus smart phones including the Google Pixel. If you have a Google Nexus device or pixel, you can download a web browser inherit from Samsung for performance trial.
Note that the technical information from Samsung says “the officially supported devices includes the Galaxy and Google Nexus phone running Android version 5.0 or higher software.” However, Google is also supporting Pixel smart phone which is similar to the Nexus.
Current Beta version of Samsung Internet is developed based on the Chromium 51. If you have a Galaxy device, Nexus or Google Pixel, you can download the browser here.
