A new folding smartphone is now up and running and has not been made by Samsung or any other well-known manufacturer. This is Royole FlexiPai, which is the first terminal about the size of a tray that can be folded like a book.
The guys from Ice Universe were behind the first discovery that reveals the Chinese manufacturer Royole Corporation’s folding terminal.
As the study shows, FlexiPai becomes the “world’s first folding mobile phone”.
The new folding smartphone tends to have a flashy design because it’s not as subtle as many would think. As you can see in the video. The FlexPai has a high-resolution screen of 7.8 inches and a thickness of only 7.6 mm, currently, it is not specified whether the panel is LCD or AMOLED, but due to its folding function, it may be the latter one.

Royole FlexiPai Specifications
Its flexibility isn’t 100%, so when folded it looks like a smartphone that’s too big and bulky. Internally, the Flexipai has an 8150 processor, also known as 855, and is available in three configurations: 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB. For photography, it has two rearview cameras, a 16 MP wide-angle lens and a 20 MP telephoto lens. The camera is located on the left side when the device is flat. According to the report, it also has ITHome technology.
According to the manufacturer, FlexiPai is compatible with a patented rapid charging technology called Ro-Charge. And they say it’s 40% faster and with an efficiency of 94%. However, they did not specify the capacity of the battery.
