Remember that. Just last week, we told you about the first rumors about Resident Evil 8, spread by Biohazard Declassified and later supported by Nibel, an insider known for his reliability in the video game industry.
The next installment of Resident Evil is already attracting a lot of attention, and the latest rumors bring some interesting new features.
The next release of Resident Evil is not yet official, there are already rumors about it. Recently, there was talk that, like the previous work, it could offer an exclusive first-person perspective that would allow Capcom to immerse players more in the game and take advantage of staging effects.
Resident Evil 8 already comes back to us with new rumors: According to the German media GAMEZ.de, the film could take place in Eastern Europe, in a village where the main interest would be a castle.
In this context, the medieval atmosphere is rather untypical for this kind of game. According to the website, the adventure will still focus on the character of Chris Redfield, but also on Ethan from Resident Evil 7. Some zombies would be equipped with armor and swords… And we could face what looks like werewolves.
Of course, all of this was never confirmed (or even denied) by Capcom, and even today it still needs to be handled with great care, even if several sources seem to overlap.
More than ever, it is, therefore, necessary to refrain from this new information, even if some of it is consistent with what was already revealed in the previous leak. At the moment, Capcom has not yet communicated about Resident Evil 8, which is therefore technically not yet official. It is, of course, suspected that it is already in development.
