Qualcomm has formally introduced an Always Connected PC platform developed with Microsoft. Always Connected PCs promise a revolutionary way of how users use their laptop computers.
The Always-Connected PC platform comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon system and full-fledged Windows 10 operating system with the ARM-optimized Office version. In the first wave, Snapdragon 835 comes up as a system circuit.

Notebooks are promised at best for more than 24 hours of use. And, for example, a Microsoft representative claims that they have enough handsets to download once a week. Due to the advanced power saving features, the notebook can be considered a so-called ” Instant On mode. So, allowing the computer to be available immediately at the touch of a button.
However, the first Always Connected PC notebook was introduced by Asus and HP. Asus NovaGo is a so-called ” 2-in-1 laptops. Also, the display hinges allow the tablet PC mode to turn the keyboard back to the screen. In addition to Snapdragon 835, the notebook has 8 GB of LPDDR4x memory and 256 GB UFS 2.0 storage space at its best. The portable display is a 13.3-inch 1920×1080 resolution display.
Asus NovaGo (The always-connected PC)
NovaGo comes with two USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A connectors. That comes up with a combined microphone/headphone jack. Also, there is a NanoSIM card slot, an HDMI output, and a MicroSD card reader. Asus promises to have a 22-hour battery life and a 30-day standby time. Its strategic dimensions are 149 x 316 x 221 mm and 1.39 kg. By default, Windows 10 S is running on the system.
Asus NovaGo is priced at a 4GB / 64GB configuration tax-free at $ 599 and an 8GB / 256GB configuration for $ 799. Unfortunately, at this stage, the laptop is not available in every country. But that will only be available in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, and China.
HP Envy x2(The always-connected PC)
HP Envy x2 is also included in the 2-in-1 category. However, it is more like a tablet PC. In which the keypad is part of the enclosure and does not stick to the display itself. Also, the Snapdragon 835 system circuitry is at its best with 8 GB of memory and 256 GB of UFS storage. The portable screen is 12 inches in size and has a slightly higher resolution of 1920 × 1280.
HP Introduces ZBook x2, a High-Power Convertible
The Envy x2 comes with one USB Type-C connector, a microSD card reader, a SIM card slot, and a combined microphone/headphone jack. Also, the portable audio comes in collaboration with Bang & Olufsen. HP promises to Envy x2 at its best for 20 hours of use and a 29-day standby time. The battery is guaranteed to charge from zero to 90% in 90 minutes using HP Fast Charging technology.
The exact strategic dimensions of the notebook are still obscured but promised to be only 6.9 millimeters thick. As an operating system, HP has chosen the Windows 10 S version.
HP has not yet announced pricing on its Envy x2 handset and gives us a clue for its sale in the spring of 2018.
