Published images of cheap Gigabyte cards on the Intel Z490

In addition to the Intel Comet Lake-S processors, motherboards with an LGA 1200 socket and chipsets of the Intel 400 series will soon be on the market. Gradually more and more pictures of the upcoming boards will appear on the web. This time PCHocasi published a new stack of photos about new Gigabyte products with the Intel Z490 chipset.

We already wrote about older Gigabyte motherboards based on the Intel Z490 some time ago, and by the way, it ended at the same time that the new products will support PCIe 4.0 in the future. Now pictures of all other new Intel Z490 products from Gigabyte have been published, most of them are affordable models.

Among the new products on display, the Aorus Z490 Ultra G2 Edition motherboard immediately grabs your attention. In terms of equipment, it completely repeats the usual Aorus Z490 Ultra but is dedicated to the G2 sports team. It is available in the team colors black, red and gray. There is a “G2” logo on the chipset’s heat sink. Note that the Aorus brand has worked with this team before.

The Aorus Z490 Aorus Elite and Elite AC motherboards will offer a very advanced feature set with a performance-enhanced subsystem, spotlights in M.2 slots, and more. The only difference between the Aorus Z490 Aorus Elite AC and its closest relatives in the presence of a Wi-Fi 6 wireless module.

For more economical gamers, Gigabyte will prepare the Z490 Gaming X and Z490M Gaming X motherboards, which are manufactured in ATX and micro ATX format. Here, too, a very impressive power subsystem and a very good configuration can be observed.

For the so-called “content creators”, i.e. people from creative professions and their workplaces, Gigabyte will start a new vision series. In addition to the Z490 Vision G described above, a Taiwanese manufacturer will introduce the Z490 Vision D. It will look different and will also get slightly more advanced devices.

Finally, the most affordable new products on the Intel Z490 in the Gigabyte line will be the Ultra Durable series boards. The new Z490 UD and Z490 UD AC will be produced in ATX format, while the Z490M UD – Micro ATX. These boards offer a simple basic configuration.

The introduction of Intel Comet Lake-S processors and new motherboards for these processors is expected next month. If Intel’s plans do not change again, of course.
