There is still no information about when PS5 will be released. Despite the latest information about the PS5 gaming offering and new competitor like Google Stadia, the new Sony console is still a mystery. According to an analyst, PS5, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s next-generation console, will be available for sale sometime in the 2021-2022 fiscal year. We’ll give you all the details below.
We already know that Sony has been working on the PS5 for some time and have seen it through a number of job offers, including looking for developers to design the company’s new console. Well, even though there’s no official information about it at the moment, certainly not about when it will be released, there are analysts like Yasuo Imanaka who dare to predict it.

Through Twinfinite, this analyst has stated that it is improbable that PS5 will be released before next March, as PlayStation would have planned to put it up for sale during the 2021 to 2022 fiscal year. This would be a much later release than many analysts have predicted: sometime in 2020.
For now, the Japanese company has not anticipated the release date, price or features of the future console, while acknowledging that work is underway on its technical specifications. Sony will not be attending E3 2019, and it is speculated that Sony may be holding its own presentation of the new console independently of the show (as on other occasions with PlayStation Experience).
