One patent from Sony already points to the biggest controller function of the future PS5, that is the DualShock 5. Now there is even a reported network leak, which is meant to show the pad exactly with this feature. Is the PlayStation 5 controller?
An alleged image of the controller has appeared on the network, which will be delivered with the PS5 in future. The Twitter users speculate about this after the release of the tweet of the video game blogger “Ray Sekiro”.
The image (above in the article) shows a controller, which indicates that it will be used on a future PlayStation, especially through the PlayStation buttons and the content displayed on the touch screen.
Sony has not yet announced a PS5, but it will definitely arrive. Fans are wondering what the new PlayStation 5 will offer in the future. Is it compatible downwards? Is there no unit left? Click here to see our rumors.
However, the source of this image is not clear and the console has not yet been officially announced. It can be assumed that this is a false image. It’s pretty sure it’s not a DualShock 5 controller. Colleagues at the game magazine Push Square see it the same way.
PS5: Patent with reference to the controller feature
But the speculations about this are comprehensive to the extent that a possible controller feature was previously reported in the form of a centrally installed touch screen. Sony Interactive Entertainment America (SIE) has filed a patent with the U.S. Patent Office for a wireless controller for a video game console that deals with this touch screen.
It’s an official Sony entry, but that doesn’t mean that this concept will be implemented and even the connection to a PS5 remains speculative. One will have to wait for an announcement from the company to be absolutely certain.
Another patent also signals a long-awaited function for PS5 and there are also forecasts for the PS5 year of release. Industry experts assume that release will take place in 2020. Some of these people even believe that it is possible that it will be released by the end of 2019.
