ASUS Project Precog is a convertible laptop that resembles quite controversial equipment such as Lenovo Yoga Book. The equipment from 2016 can still be purchased in Polish shops. However, the new machine from ASUS is to be much smarter and powered by artificial intelligence and machine learning. Thanks to the VPU (Vision Processing Unit) from Intel, it is supposed to manage e.g. battery consumption or user tasks.

It can be used in four different forms – Stand, Book, Tent, and Flat. All this will be possible thanks to the 360-degree hinge that connects the two displays. According to ASUS, Project Precog automatically adjusts the keyboard location to suit where you place your fingertips or change mode to a stylus mode as soon as you touch the pen at the bottom of the screen.

When is Project Precog going to appear? It is not yet known exactly. According to ASUS, this is likely to happen next year. By then, the company hopes to create an ecosystem centered around the benefits of Artificial Intelligence and is already urging designers to think in this direction.
