piCSSel-art is a free web-based tool developed as an experiment by Kushagra Gour, to enable the creation of pixel-art creations using only CSS code.
Now it is completely revamped with a number of interesting features: URL sharing, canvas and pixel size settings, grid availability, color palette availability, and more keyboard accessibility.
Once users have configured the available options, they only have to paint pixels on the canvas in front of them, automatically generating the CSS code underlying the design itself.
In fact, the same tool offers both the HTML code and the CSS code generated, for those who want to take their designs once completed directly to the web, although they also have the possibility of seeing the result of their designs through the codepen platform. There is also a button to share the URL of the same through the social network Twitter.
The source code for this tool is available on the GitHub platform under MIT license. Undoubtedly, an interesting and curious tool from which some with creative skills can get enough performance.
