NVIDIA RTX 30 series graphics card family exposure is expected to be released in September. And august 31 could also be a reference to the official launch of Ampere, which is NVIDIA’s next-generation graphics architecture. There are rumors that Ampere is about to be released during this month, and the lack of graphics cards in the market seems to support this.
NVIDIA may release RTX 30 ‘Amp’ on August 31st
A video teaser posted on Twitter is accompanied by wallpaper on NVIDIA’s official profile page. It says “21 days” Twenty-one years. This cryptic message refers to August 31. This is the same date the GeForce 256 was released in 1999, exactly 21 years ago.
This is the first preview, possibly the beginning of a longer social campaign.
Ampere GPUs could provide a massive performance boost over the current GeForce RTX 2000 GPU graphics cards. The performance is said to be up to 31% higher, and ray tracing performance is up to four times higher.
NVIDIA is expected to launch its next-generation GeForce 30 series in early September, possibly on September 9 or 17, according to previous rumors from media. A teaser date indicates that the announcement will be made on August 31. Two years ago, when NVIDIA introduced the Turing Series, the announcement was made one month before the product launch. This could be the same case, so we will be watching that date closely. We will keep you informed.
