NVIDIA releases the latest update for its dedicated tool for streaming content. NVIDIA Broadcast 1.3 has been released with significant performance improvements for the application, which is intended for RTX graphics card owners.

NVIDIA Broadcast 1.3 released with significant performance improvements

NVIDIA Broadcast adds the ability to add audio and video effects, as well as other features based on RTX technology, such as background noise removal or virtual backgrounds that automatically detect the user’s presence and hide everything else. It is also possible to use RTX Voice, which suppresses background noise for better speech intelligibility.

With the 1.3 updates for NVIDIA Broadcast, the application now reduces performance degradation by applying multiple audio and video effects simultaneously, which can consume a lot of VRAM. According to NVIDIA, this reduces the application’s VRAM consumption by up to 40%.

NVIDIA was able to add support for more applications that work with Broadcast. It is now possible to use it with Canon, Nikon, and Sony webcam utilities, as well as OBS Virtual Camera. Other minor changes and improvements include some tweaks and fixes to the user interface.

Audio denoising can be found in applications like OBS Studio and Streamlabs. For editors, this feature can be used in Adobe Premiere Pro and Audacity. However, the NVIDIA Broadcast Redistributable Package must be installed for these features to be available.
