Nvidia Ampere RTX 3080 / Ti, new rumors point to release in September

According to the latest news, RTX 3080 Ti and RTX 3080 may potentially be available as early as September 17. Nvidia’s next generation of graphics cards will deliver more power, the company’s improved amp architecture, and high-end models that offer a level of performance that transcends next-generation consoles with the RTX 3080 and RTX 3080 Ti.

New sources have reported that Nvidia will release its first Ampere graphics cards in September and the company will release additional hardware versions in October and November. In most cases, these releases will be made before the launch of the Xbox X series and PlayStation 5, so Nvidia will be able to provide its customers with state-of-the-art performance even before the launch of these new systems.

Videocardz has also taken up this rumor and pointed out that these launch dates coincide with Turing’s 2018 schedule. Currently, Nvidia’s RTX 3080 and 3080 Ti are expected to be released on September 17th, Nvidia’s RTX 3070 in October, and Nvidia’s RTX 3060 in November.

With a launch in September, Nvidia may plan to unveil its amp architecture on August 27 at Gamescom 2020. With this launch, Nvidia will likely focus on DLSS 2.0, a feature reserved for RTX series products.

The latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Amp graphics card series will replace the entire GeForce RTX 20 Turing product line, providing users with higher performance to play the next generation of AAA games at exceptional quality and frame rates. The remaining models, the RTX 3070 in October and the RTX 3060 in November. The RTX 2070Super was also recently discontinued, which represents a complete cessation of the Turing 20 graphics card series and shows how close we are to the release of the RTX 30 amp graphics cards.

It is reported that Nvidia has shipped its latest orders for RTX 2070 Super, which means that the company wants to have used up the RTX 20 series’ stock at retailers. This means that the market launch of new hardware is approaching, which is expected in the last quarter of this year.
