NVIDIA Ampere GeForce RTX 3090 price to be around 2,000 dollars [Rumor]

Recently there has been a lot of news about the NVIDIA Ampere RTX 3090, which will use a GA102-300 graphics processor with 5248 CUDA cores. It supports memory modules up to 21 Gbps, bandwidths up to 1 TB/s, and more. A user claiming to have privileged access has released information about the price of the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090. The initial cost would be nearly $2,000.

Price of two RTX 3090 graphics cards from Colorful RTX revealed

A ChipHell user with the alias Alienxzy has posted a screenshot of an alleged privileged account with information about the NVIDIA partner’s plans for the RTX 3090. Colorful would release two versions of the RTX 3090 graphics card, a Vulcan (air-cooled), and a Neptune (hybrid-cooled) graphics card. The prices would be in the range of 14,999 CNY and 15,999 CNY respectively. That would be about 2000 dollars for the Vulcan X OC and interestingly, the hybrid version would be a bit cheaper.

Furthermore, there are several rumors, such as the 5V RGB capacity, which corresponds to the lighting of the graphics cards together with that of the motherboards (and vice versa), and an improved display for the Vulcan X.

On the other hand, sales of the Vulcan graphics card in the previous generation were low, so that its price, which is said to be in the same range as the Vulcan X OC, will be closely scrutinized. If all this is true, it would drive up the price trend for NVIDIA’s RTX 3000 series offer, as the cost of the best performance generation after generation increases. Even when considering NVIDIA’s almost guaranteed Founders Edition, this is a high-priced scenario.

Last but not least, the RTX 30 series graphics cards will be launched on September 1st, the first batch will include the RTX 3090/3080/3070, etc., which will be equipped with GDDR6X memory with higher capacity and higher bandwidth, ensuring double-digit performance increases
