Surprisingly, Nintendo introduced some interesting news on their Nintendo Direct, such as new games and the return of the classic NES controller.
Featuring the same classic design, the new proposed NES controls are now wireless and compatible with the Nintendo Switch allowing you to relive the classic gaming experience.
There is a rechargeable battery, all you need to do is connect it to the Nintendo Switch to charge it. However, please note that this offer is only for users with a membership in Nintendo’s online service and with a limit of one purchase per account (either single or family membership). Also, the trial membership does not qualify for this exclusive offer.
In other words, the new NES Controls can only be used with the classic games available on the Nintendo Switch Online and do not have the same features as Joy-Con.
It is announced that the reservation option will open on September 18th at a price of approximately $60 per package with two NES controllers, and delivery will begin in December depending on availability.
It is an interesting proposal for those who want to rediscover the classic NES controller experience after waiting several months to get their hands on it.
