The new version of Search Console that was released at the beginning of the year and is currently available in beta, continues to receive new features. Google has just introduced the new URL inspection tool, which will allow users to see the detailed information that Google has in its index about any specific URL they own.
To this end, this new tool will generate a report on any URL indicating aspects such as the last time it was indexed, any errors that may have been found in the indexing, or even those problems that have prevented the URL from appearing in the search results, among other possibilities.
Google offers all the possibilities that the new tool can show through its support page. In addition to this tool, which today begins its deployment to reach all users over the next few weeks, Google has introduced other new features of Search Console.
In this regard, he notes that the Search Analytics API now offers 16 months of data, as does the performance report; the Recipes report will help correct structured data issues that affect rich recipe results; and new Search Analytics filters that allow for more visibility into the results of the new search appearance, including Web Light and Google Play Instant results, in your performance report.
With this, Search Console continues improving, or rather, maturing, so that one day it will remove the Beta tag and replace the current classic version in the future.
