MSI has added a new board with X299 chipset for Core X processors. The X299 XPower Gaming AC is a model in E-ATX format with a size of 30.4 × 27.9 cm. And has a reinforcement in the back of the zone of the Chipset. Also, it has an accurate lighting on the chipset heatsink and the rear connectors area. That is fully customizable but not overloaded.

In addition, tt has eight memory banks to make 128 GB of DDR4 memory. Which can be used up to 4000 MHz using XMP, plus the new motherboard components. In total it has fourteen feeding phases, which will allow a real increase of the processing power and memory additions. It has three M.2 type SSD slots with a heatsink plus a PCIe card for an SSD pair with a heatsink. Also, it has an additional U.2 connector and a front USB 3.1 connector.

In addition, the board uses SLI or CrossFire of four graphics cards. And includes an SLI HB connector. It has a Realtek ALC1220 audio codec. Two rear Ethernet jacks use Intel I219-V and I211 controllers. It has 802.11 ac wireless wifi connectivity, and Bluetooth 4.2 and RGB led strips, and various rear USB connectors, including USB 3.1 type-C.
