The world’s leading manufacturer of motherboards, graphics cards and gaming equipment, MSI today announced the availability of new BIOS for its motherboards that add support for CPU-Attached RAID technology.
MSI adds CPU-Attached RAID support to its motherboards
High-performance, CPU-Attached RAID technology provides the best read and write speeds, while improving performance in RAID configurations. MSI also developed the M.2 Genie technology, that allows you to configure RAID 0 systems on M.2 drives much more easily and quickly.
MSI has provided a list of motherboards compatible with the new CPU-Attached RAID technology, so far it is only compatible with the Intel Z370 and X299 chipsets. You can download the new BIOS from the official MSI website once you have verified that your board is compatible.
