MSI has extended its range of displays for gaming systems and announced the Optix MAG301CR model in a VA matrix with a 30″ diagonal: the new product has a concave shape.
The panel has a resolution of WFHD (2560 × 1080 pixels) and a ratio of 21:9; the contrast ratio reaches 3000:1; horizontal and vertical viewing angles – up to 178 degrees.
The refresh rate is 200 Hz, the response time is 1 ms. Supported is the FreeSync system, which is responsible for the synchronization of the frame rate between the graphics card and the monitor. This increases the smoothness of the game.
The panel claims 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 127% sRGB color space coverage. A proprietary multicolor Mystic Light backlight is located on the back of the case.
The monitor has a wide range of interfaces. These are USB 3.2 Gen.1 Type A (× 2), USB 3.2 Gen.1 Type B, DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI 2.0b (× 2) and USB Type C.
Support is available for a wide range of customizations. You can change the height of the screen relative to the desktop surface, rotate and tilt the screen, and change its orientation from landscape to portrait.
