MSI has expanded its options on the AMD enthusiast TR4 socket with the new MSI X399 SLI PLUS motherboard. That is a new option for massive processors up to 16 cores AMD Threadripper. This new motherboard is focused within the MSI Workstation Pro product line, with Military Class VI electrical components designed for high durability.

This new model has four PCIe 3.0 x16 ports in the configuration ready for four graphics cards. And although only two of them have been reinforced with MSI Steel Armor to add hardness. Among them, we find two PCIe 2.0 x1 slots and three M.2 ports ( two 2280 and one 22110). Where one of them has an M.2 Shield heatsink. The storage is completed with 8 SATA 3 ports that can be found on the right side of the motherboard itself.
